A citation for “DUI” is very expensive (legal fees, loss of driving privileged, increases insurance rates, public embarrassment). Ask anyone and they will tell you being the “designated driver” is the absolute pits. I was recently having dinner at a brew pub after touring my guests to 5 Vermont breweries throughout the afternoon. The group was discussing what a great time they had that day and how I let them enjoy each brewery. They especially appreciated how I let them decide how much time they needed but kept them focused on how much time was remaining to visit the number of breweries desired.
